About billing and scope
- Why is there a one-off price at all?
- Because production is project-based and subscriptions are not. A commercial shop that finishes a campaign in six weeks should not be carrying a monthly line item for the eleven months it is not producing. If one job needs a packet, buy one packet.
- What does the free tier actually give me?
- The full requirements matrix for one project: every obligation that applies to your facts, with its authority, citation, effective date and severity. It is read-only — you can see exactly what the determination is before deciding whether the documents and the packet are worth paying for.
- What counts as an active project?
- One production — a picture, a series or a campaign — with its own intake, determination, documents and packet. Archiving a finished project frees the slot on plans with a project limit.
- Do you charge per performer or per document?
- No. On the subscription plans, document generation and e-signature are unlimited within your active projects. A production with forty performers costs the same as one with four.
- Can I upgrade mid-project?
- Yes. Projects, documents and signature records carry across plans — nothing is re-signed or regenerated on upgrade, which is the whole point of the audit log.
- What am I actually buying?
- A determination from a dated rules corpus, the instruments to execute against it, the signature record that proves they were executed, and one packet that presents all of it in the order a clearance reviewer reads. Paperwork that would otherwise be assembled from three vendors’ inboxes in the last week before delivery.
